THE FOURTH SARAJEVO UN WORLD INTERFAITH HARMONY WEEK

Sarajevo, February from the 3rd to 4th 2016

International Forum Bosnia's Centre for Interfaith Dialogue will mark UN World Interfaith Harmony Week from the 3rd to 4th of February, 2016.

The United Nations Organization's General Assembly declared on the 20th of October that the first week of February in every year would be UN World Interfaith Harmony Week, calling on all the various actors of the international order to support awareness of religious plurality with appropriate programmes. The programme of the IFB's Centre for Interfaith Dialogue comprises:

A public discussion of "The Philosophy of Difference and its Challenges for Politics, Culture and Economics”

Five new books will be presented to the public (1) Lejla Nakaš, ed., Plovdivska bosanska knjiga (Sarajevo: Međunarodni forum Bosna 2016); Fikret Čaušević, Globalization, Southeastern Europe, and the World Economy (New York: Routledge, 2015); Amra Hadžimuhamedović, Naslijeđe, rat i mir(Sarajevo: Sarajevo University Press, 2015); Mile Babić, Hegelova filozofija prava (Sarajevo: Sarajevo University Press, 2012); Rusmir Mahmutćehajić, Andrićevstvo: Protiv etike sjećanja (Beograd: Clio, 2015).

The books will be presented by: Mile Babić, Žarko Papić, Desmond Maurer, Rusmir Mahmutćehajić and Senadin Lavić.
